The first time I tasted this dish from my local Japanese restaurant, I fell in love with it. Tender onion with succulent and flavorful pork slices over rice is to die for. By using the air fryer, now I can enjoy the same wonderful taste without even leaving home.
Ingredients:
- 1 Pound pork shoulder, cut into thin slices
- 2 Tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 Tablespoon grated ginger
- 2 Tablespoon mirin
- 2 Tablespoon rice wine
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon corn starch
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions to garnish
Marinate the pork with all the ingredients, except green onion slices, except green onion slices, for at least one hour.
In a lightly greased cake barrel, air fry the marinated pork slices at 380F (190C) for 12-14 minutes, stir 2-3 times in between, until the meat is fully cooked.
Garnish with some thinly sliced onions to serve.
