This Chinese style steak dish is tender and succulent. No matter what your diet is, low carb or otherwise, this pairs well with either salad or rice.
Ingredients:
- 1 Pound beef rib eye steak
- 3 Tablespoon dark soy sauce
- 2 Tablespoon light soy sauce
- 2 Tablespoon rice wine
- 1 Tablespoon black pepper
- 1 Tablespoon corn starch
- 1 Tablespoon chopped garlic
- 2 Tablespoon mirin
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup button mushrooms quartered
- 1/2 Tablespoon olive oil
Pound the steak to tenderize the meat and cut them into cubes. Then, add all the ingredients (except mushrooms) for one hour.
Drizzle about 1/2 table spoon of olive oil onto mushroom and toss. Set aside
On a lightly greased aluminum foil or cake barrel, air fry at 380F (190C) for about 10-12 minutes until the reaching the desired doneness, stirring 2-3 times in the middle. When there’s about 3-4 minutes left, put the mushrooms in and air fry until completion.
Serve over a bed of greens or rice.
