The mysterious ‘corona virus’ spread in China has killed at least nine people so far, all of them older, and more than 400 people have been affected by it.

Launched in the Chinese city of Wuhan in December 2019, the deadly virus has spread to neighboring countries, reaching the United States.

Various kinds of animals were sold in this market, it is now fully sealed.

The whole world is getting ready to deal with the virus, with the World Health Organization debating on Wednesday whether to declare a global emergency.

What is the Corona Virus?

It is also known as the cousin of the SARS virus because they have many features in common. Chinese scientist Liu Poon believes that it began with animals and later transmitted to humans.

The corona virus is actually a large group that is commonly found in animals, so rare that it is transmitted from animals to humans.

Symptoms of Corona Virus

Infected people show symptoms such as early cold, runny nose, cough, sore throat, generalized headache and sometimes fever.

Individuals (older or younger) who have a weakened immune system are more likely to suffer from pneumonia or bronchitis.

Recent history of virus outbreaks

The Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) debuted in the Middle East in 2012. It is likely that it was transmitted from camels to humans. Three out of every 10 people affected by it lost their lives.

Seaworthy Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) originated in the Chinese province of Gang Don. The death toll ranged from zero to fifty percent. Scientists believe that it spreads to humans by certain types of cats.

How does the Corona Virus Spread?

There are several ways to transmit the virus from one person to another, including coughing, sneezing, shaking hands. If the affected person has touched something and touches the person’s mouth, nose or eyes, then the virus is also likely to spread.

Corona Virus Treatment

There is no specific treatment. Many times the symptoms go away automatically. Doctors can prescribe medicines to control pain or fever. Bathing with warm water can also relieve a sore throat or cough.

People affected by it should drink as much water and juices as possible, rest, and complete sleep.

Protect from Corona Virus

There is no vaccine for this virus. The victims should stay away from them. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth. Wash your hands with soap for at least twenty seconds.
