How To Help Autistic Children?

Specialized Therapies

It is an umbrella term given to a group of therapies that include speech, occupational and physical therapies. For the normal growth of an autistic child, these therapies can be really helpful. These therapies are now readily used in the treatment of autistic patients.

The aim of occupational and physical therapy is to overcome co-ordination problems and process them in an effective and efficient manner. Speech therapy helps to improve language and social skills. Without such treatment, there is a risk that children may become anti-social. They may distance themselves from others as they grow older.
