Is the Coronavirus the End of the World?

With this shutdown the Dow Jones has taken a downward turn. Chicken Little is running around screaming, “The Dow is falling, The Dow is falling.” Fear is causing people to panic and the media feeds the panic. Fear keeps people in line and following the actions of those in charge. We must not give in to the fear. Remember that this too shall pass.

Prior to this crisis people were already in fear of losing their jobs because people are being cut without any notice nowadays. Lately there is little financially security, even if you have a job, even if you have savings, and even if you are a CEO.

What I do believe is that there will be a further decline financially worldwide. How can it not happen when everything has come to a dead stop? This is going to put enormous fear and stress upon people.

The worst thing you can do is be afraid. Fear causes more anxiety and fear to grow. What you need to do is step back and be objective about your personal situation. Analyze it as though you were someone else and you may see things a bit clearer.

Another factor that I feel is coming is social unrest resulting in riots. After a few weeks of being shut in and many people not having any money outbreaks of riots are going to occur. I know that the government is trying to allot money to people to help them through this crisis and that will definitely delay people from panicking and starting to riot. Be prepared for rioting and looting. Please pray that this can be stopped. Remember the more fear people have it propels them into actions they normally would not do.

It’s a proven fact that what you focus on you create. Therefore you must keep your mental self built up constantly. Use affirmations and positive thinking to keep yourself motivated. Every person has something that is strictly unique to them. Make a list and write down everything you want out of life, family life, and spirituality, the type of job you want, your career future, and visualize getting what you want daily. Whatever you can visualize-you create.

Clarity, persistence and knowing exactly what you want out of life is going to take you through these difficult days. Going through difficult times challenges you to see what you can truly do and accomplish. We frequently read stories about people who are homeless and had an idea and created it and from there became millionaires. Their persistence is what paid off. No one said it would be easy, but you can succeed even in today’s tough economy. The key is to never give up and whatever you do give it 100 percent of yourself. If you do that there’s no way you can fail.
