You’ve probably seen chia seeds suspended in bottles of juice at the grocery store, but did you know that “Chia Fresca” is a traditional drink in Mexico and Central America?

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 2

  •  3/4 cup 100% Cherry Juice
  •  1 1/4 cups water
  •  3 tbsp White Chia Seeds
  •  2 tbsp Honey
  •  3 tbsp Lime Juice

DIRECTIONS

1Add the cherry juice, water, chia seeds, honey and lime juice to a glass jar, cover and shake well.

2Refrigerate overnight.

3Enjoy!

4* You can experiment with different fruit flavors — use 100% fruit juice when able.
